Imperial War Museum
The Imperial War Museum is the national museum of twentieth century conflict and attracts over 1.3 million visitors to its four sites throughout the UK. Sandcliff was asked to conduct the first ever evaluation of the Museum's development activities. The key objective was to establish the potential for the sustained growth of capital and revenue development income.

During the three-month evaluation period, Sandcliff worked closely with the Director of Finance to examine the strategic plan, funding issues and future requirements for voluntary income.

The resultant report suggested a number of strategic recommendations and established the cost benefit of investment in development. The report also identified a number of organisational issues that would need to be resolved in order to maximise development opportunities and ensure a competitive edge.
